01 Welcome to the Alps
We’ll meet you at Tirano train station and quickly shuttle to Bormio. Settle in at your cozy hotel before we hit the road for the first ride on the smooth trails of the Valfurva valley. After the ride we’ll celebrate the beginning of this cycling adventure with a great dinner of local delights.
02 Around the Valleys
We’ll start the day descending on the Sentiero Valtellina bike path before going off road on the pristine trails of Val Grosina, Val Verva and Val Viola. Back to Bormio we suggest to wander through the alleys of the old town before enjoying dinner at a restaurant of your choice. If you need any advice, your guides will be happy to help.

03 Stelvio and Roman Baths
Enjoy a copious breakfast and get ready to meet the King of the Alps: Passo dello Stelvio, the highest paved road in Italy reaching the impressive altitude of 2758m. After this great ride swap your shoes for flip-flops and indulge in a relaxing afternoon at the elegant QC Terme Roman baths.

04 Livigno
Today’s ride will be in the most pristine Alpine landscape. From Bormio we’ll ride to the enchanted Cancano Lakes before a spectacular descend to Livigno. You will have time to enjoy a walk in town and some tax free shopping before we shuttle back to Bormio for another great dinner of local delights.

05 The Wine Road
After a quick shuttle we’ll ride on the Via dei Terrazzamenti: a mixture of dirt roads and cobbled streets running through a spectacular landscapes of terraced vineyards. Prestigious reds as Sfurzat, Sassella and Inferno are produced in the Valtellina wine region and await to be tasted at a private wine tasting in our favorite winery. Cheers!

	Pick up
- On day 1 Vago team will meet you at Tirano train station at 11am. Trains from Milano Centrale depart for Tirano every 2 hours and journey time is 2,5 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any logistic and planning support.
Drop off
- On the last day the drop off location is Sondrio train station. The approximate time for the drop off is 11am, please plan your travel accordingly. At any time do not hesitate to contact us for any logistic and planning support.
PRE and AFTER tour tips
- The main airports to reach and leave the tour are Milan Linate (LIN), Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY). In order to minimize the risk of jet lag and enjoy every moment of your cycling vacation, we suggest to land in Italy at least one day prior to the beginning of your tour. Before or after the tour we suggest to spend some days visiting the cities of Milan, Bergamo and Como.
