Today we leave the Prosecco Hills and ride toward Bassano del Grappa, our new home base for the second part of the tour. The gentle route winds through elegant villas and quiet vineyards until we reach Asolo, a hilltop gem famously called “the city of a hundred horizons” by poet Giosuè Carducci.
This relaxed recovery ride with postcard moments around every corner is the day we need before tackling the mighty Monte Grappa.

After a humbling visit to the Sacrario Militare, the imposing WWI memorial, we plunge back to town and wrap up the day just right: pizza night and a cold beer. Cheers!
