02 San Boldo
Today’s route takes us to the summit of Passo San Boldo, famously known as “the Hundred Days Road.” This name commemorates the remarkable achievement during World War I when the Austro-Hungarians built the road in just one hundred days to supply troops and weaponry. For the more avid riders, the additional climb to Pianezze awaits (15 km / 9 miles with an elevation gain of 1,000 m / 3,300 feet). Later all together we’ll visit a Prosecco winery and enjoy another feast at the dinner table.
